2010 MEDIA LAUNCH

Celebrity chefs Sean Connolly (of Sean’s Kitchen in Sydney), Fiona Hoskin (Fee and Me Brassiere in Launceston) and Kym Machin (of Urbane in Brisbane) delighted an array of Sydney media with their delectable dishes at the media launch for Table4Ten 2010, held at Astral Restaurant, Star City on June 16th, 2010. 

The Table4Ten (T4T) media launch announced the program’s national expansion from Sydney into Brisbane, Hobart and Launceston, to raise awareness and a target of $1 million for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. 

Media guests were given the opportunity to learn about the Table4Ten concept, now in its third year, and sample a dish from each of the chefs.  Fiona Hoskin prepared a superb Tasmanian ocean trout tartare withTobika caviar and tomato consommé for the entrée; Sean Connolly delivered a sensational Angus Beef Hollandaise with king mushrooms miso seeded mustard and jus gras for mains; and Kim Machin provided a stellar finish to the lunch with his phenomenal dessert creation – chai, yoghurt, chocolate almond & honey stunningly presented to appear like a delicate birds egg in a nest.

Table4Ten 2010 will see some of Australia’s most renowned restaurants, including the likes of Tetusya’s, Marque, Bilson’s, ARIA and many more, host an impressive 150 tables of ten across Australia during September’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
