TABLE4TEN IS A GROUP OF FRIENDS PASSIONATELY COMMITTED TO A CAUSE TO HELP SAVE THE LIVES OF MORE THAN 3000 MEN IN AUSTRALIA THAT TRAGICALLY DIE FROM PROSTATE CANCER EACH YEAR.
Drawn from a common network of influential professionals, Table4Ten (T4T) are setting out with a singular ambition – to create exciting new annual charity events across the nation to raise awareness and funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The vision is a wonderful series of social evenings bound by a few degrees of separation – Committee members, the respective hosts and their guests.
T4T feel that by maintaining this “friends of friends” philosophy it will be able to deliver an exciting new charity concept drawing together like-minded professionals and individuals. The Committee nominates their friends to host a table, whom in turn invite their friends to form a table for 10 guests on the evening. The outcome is a highly desirable, “inclusive for those involved” event that is exclusive in look, feel and flow.
Each Committee member brings professional skills and networks to the group to ensure T4T deliver a unique evening that will be recognised as an annual event people will strive to become involved with. The dedicated teams work as volunteers and meet weekly to drive the program. This program delivers the events to raise vital funds and awareness for the 18,700 men and their friends and families who are affected by a diagnosis of prostate cancer each year in Australia.
Founded in Sydney in 2008, Table4Ten is in its third year and we are very excited about the two sister committees that are launching T4T in Brisbane and across the state of Tasmania in 2010.
