Arras Arras, housed in a heritage-listed building at Walsh Bay, offers new age British food, that is inspiring, classical and a little bit cheeky, all in equal measure. Owner/chefs, Adam Humphrey and Lovaine Allen, arguably Sydney’s best modern British chefs, make everything in-house from house-cured bacon, to organic breads and a mind-boggling selection of petits fours, while the wine list and cheese trolley represent some of the best in Sydney. Where else but Arras could you have Rack on Black, a lamb rack on traditional black pudding. A Day by the Seaside captures Adam’s memories of the seaside complete with fish, chips, vinegar and mushy peas and to finish Cinematic Souffle, a popcorn flavoured soufflé accompanied by real popcorn.
