WHAT IS TABLE4TEN?
In 2008 a group of like-minded professionals came together with one goal in mind! Raise awareness and funding to fight prostate cancer – a disease which takes the lives of over 3000 men a year in Australia. Table4Ten is an annual event, in which influential and enthusiastic professionals come together to lend their support and money in a bid to spread the word about this devastating disease.
THE CONCEPT OF TABLE4TEN:
- The Table4Ten committee invite friends to host Tables of Ten for dinner in Sydney’s most prestigious restaurants and venues on a set date.
- An exclusive allocation evening launches each year’s event. Each host participates in a lucky draw which determines the restaurant they will dine in.
- In 2008 over 30 exceptional restaurants & chefs donated their facilities and cuisine for the venues in which our Tables of Ten dined. In 2009 we have 55 top-tier restaurants and unique locations. The main intent is for those restaurants and venues to remain those representative of Sydney’s finest establishments.
- After dinner guests are transported to a secret location for an action-packed after party.
- All ticket sales, raffle and auction money go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
Table4Ten is a keynote event raising vital funds and awareness for the 18,700 men and their friends and families who are impacted by diagnosis of prostate cancer in Australia every year. Table4Ten is the primary event to highlight Prostate Cancer Month in September 2009.
